Mitsubishi City Chase 2007

Andrea and I entered our second race of the season. The Mitsubishi City Chase...Calgary, June 09.2007. We entered as the Amazon women again....and made our name proud...in pinkFirst a quick bite to eat at the Good Earth. No one was passing by without a look at our outfits

Love the socks

Bill and his brother before the race...they ended up coming in first.

there were crowds, over 350 teams....
Some in very nice costumes too...
the Host Dave, who handed Andrea and I a 50$ gift certificate for cheering the loudest...
Jen and Nicki, who won first place in Edmonton, they also came in second here in Calgary....great athletes
using the palm and an ear set...they were prepared
Andrea and I on the train...many hours of travel and adventure
One of our favorite events was the Armory just at the end of 8th Ave, SW, we had to do army stuff, and scale a wall and play with fake guns (thank goodness)We had to toke an army bed and weights across the parking lot. Then do an obstacle course and then repel down a wall, of a building

The obstacle course ...

My dirty knees after crawling around on the ground.

then it was time to use a harness. What would we do about the skirts???Stuff a shirt between our legs and hope for the best....of course!

with a little help from the army! Now it was time to climb...

Up we wentand up
Over the top...I know you are looking at my ass!

Andrea started down the wall...I was cheering from the top

then it was my turn
What a soft landing....we finished the race at 35th place, and just under 4.5 hours....
