Scotland and Ireland May2006

In May 2006, I traveled by myself to visit my Girlfriend Pleasie who was marrying her long time boyfriend Tilo. The Wedding was in Loch Lommond, Scotland. I had a chance to visit London, many parts of the Scottish countryside, and finally to Ireland.

I managed to make it as far north as the Island of Skye. It was a beautiful place.NW part of the Isle of Skye-Scotland. The view was spectacular.

I made a few friends along the way...by taking a local tour

We stumbled on the most northern part of the Isle of Skye, where we were able to see the extension of the Giants Causeway (N.Ireland)...with a beautiful waterfall, to boot.

And to a few ancient Scottish ruins and there is Hammish the Hairy COOOH!

then it was off to Ireland...the cliffs of Mohr.

Overlooking the 450' Cliffs (scary!)I caught the bouquet in Scotland and decided to donate it to the gods of the sea....Pleasie would have wanted it that way. I sure wasn't going to bring it home to show Cam!

It was off to see some more Geology. Northern Ireland, and the Giant's Causeway.
First stop - volcanic deposits.
