I decided after a few years of dating Cam, that I should finally enter one of his Adventure races. So I easily convinced two girlfriends from work and we put a team together. Amazon Women. Andrea, Edlyn and myself.
Saturday may 19th. 7am, we would start at the Calgary Tower, climbing to the top...just the begining.

After the run to the top, was our rush down to get to our bikes
we had to complete a puzzle before being able to climb the tower
We made it up the tower in 12 minutes (802 steps)
it was time to get on the Mountain bikes and make our way to Shouldice park..
We traded our bikes for a canoe and took off to Edworthy ....for a orienteering course then canoe down town
Princess Island Park....we need to get the canoe to the parking lot at the curling club
then it was back on the bike to "geocaching" or GPS work....we needed to find the coordinates.
During the mountain bike portion, Andreas derailer broke and we needed a new bike...Cam lent his to her....and we were off again.
The crew helped to keep us organized and well set up at each transition
We also had a 5-6 km rollerblade...

My little car was support crew vehicle number two...shorter and better able to handle the canoe, no ladder necessary.
We ran to MEC to climb the wall there....middle of the shopping Saturday
Me on the wall, it got steeper and steeper at the top, but we suffered no penalties.
then it was back to getting on the biking...south this time
BUT WE WERE NOT DONE...
The last run of the day...after 90kms and just under 10hrs of racing
